摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic signal encoding system which is capable of obtaining the encoding data corresponding to a musical instrument part by extracting the waveforms approximate to the distortion waveforms previously prepared by a MIDI sound source from acoustic signals and encoding the same. SOLUTION: A section defining section 2 defines analysis sections to the digital acoustic signals of PCM, etc. Next, a signal analyzing section 3 performs the sinusoidal wave analysis of the acoustic signal in the respective analysis sections. The analyzed sinusoidal waves (the left side in Figure) are grouped according to prescribed rules and the sinusoidal waves in the groups are synthesized to form the distortion waves (the right side in Figure). On the other hand, the patterns corresponding to the inputted acoustic signals are extracted from the distortion waveform patterns accumulated in a distortion waveform pattern accumulating section 4 and are inputted as the basic distortion waveform patterns. In succession, the basic distortion waveform patterns are deformed to be analogous with the synthesized distortion waves to form the distortion waveform variations. A code forming section 6 encodes the frequencies and amplitude of the distortion waveform variations as code sets together with the start time and end time of the analysis sections.
