PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle from slipping into an other vehicle and damage of a cabin and to protect an occupant by rapidly developing a large-sized air bag for the vehicle of high strength mounted in a low pressure developed state or a low pressure half-developed state by a small quantity of gas in a collision of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The air bag device for the vehicle mounted on the vehicle 11 is constituted so as to mitigate energy of the collision by mounting the air bag 14 for vehicle in the low pressure developed state with in a bonnet 18 at the front of the vehicle, sensing pressure fluctuation by a pressure sensor 12 installed at the inside at a point of time when energy of crush at the time of the collision reaches the air bag 14 for the vehicle, generating gas in an inflator 13 via a control unit 17 and discharging gas and reducing pressure according to collision acceleration. |
