<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve that can absorb an axial dimensional error made in piping work and is easily mountable on feed piping, without a pipe joint with a loose flange. SOLUTION: A flange 1A for connection at one axial end of a cylindrical valve casing 2 is provided separately from the cylindrical valve casing 2, and is fixed to one end of a socket 9 having a slightly larger outside diameter than the cylindrical valve casing 2 and axially movably fitting about the cylindrical valve casing 2. The socket 9 is mounted for axial to-and-fro movement on the cylindrical valve casing 2 via a face-to-face dimension adjusting means 10 for adjusting a face-to-face dimension L of the cylindrical valve casing 2, and is also pressed against a seal ring 11 to prevent a water leak.</p> |
