The invention relates to an electric motor installation providing a rotary motion of the motor shaft together with a translation motion by employing an increased torque.This complex motion is used for servodrives in industrial manipulators and robots and in complex drives in general. According to the invention, the installation for providing rotary and translation motion simultaneously comprises a threaded shaft (1) rotatable inside the journal bearings (2), and lengthwise the shaft (1) there is cut a channel (3) for receiving a shoulder (4) of a rotor of an electric motor whose stator (6) is fixed in a housing (7) resting on a rotor (5) by means of two bearings (8), and is provided, at the upper side, with an external shoulder for the attachment of a nut (9) mounted on the shaft (1), and, at the lower side, with a roller-holding device (10) allowing the movement relative to a rail track (11). On supplying the electric motor a linear movement of the motor (6) or of shaft (1) occurs simultaneously with the rotation of the motor by means of the threaded shaft (1) and nut (9), depending on the element of the assembly chosen to be fixed.
