<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method of a cast block for producing an Fe-Ni base alloy material, for a shadow mask or the like, which can reduce the cost while keeping the uneven etching grade to be the conventional degree or not less than this degree. SOLUTION: After decarburizing and deoxidizing-refining molten steel in a first refining facility capable of exposing the molten steel to vacuum or reduced pressure atmosphere, slag containing CaO is added into the molten steel, and after promoting mainly desulfurization under existence of the slag, the molten steel is cast to make a consumable electrode and this consumable electrode is made to the cast block with a vacuum arc remelting method.</p> |
