PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member deposited with a sprayed coating excellent in environment improving activity and in corrosion resistance and adhesion by suppressing the change from anatase TiO2(a-TiO2) into rutile TiO2(r-TiO2). SOLUTION: This sprayed-coated member excellent in corrosion resistance and environmental purifying characteristics is obtained by thermally spraying a composite thermal spraying material containing a metal or an alloy having potential electrochemically baser than that of steel and anatase type TiO2 powder under the thermal spraying condition in which the flying speed in a thermal spraying heat source is controlled to >=200 m/sec, and providing the surface of a base material made of steel or the like with a sprayed coating in which anatase type TiO2 particles are dispersed into a metal or an alloy having potential electrochemically baser than that of steel, and the producing method uses the same.
