PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for decorating molding capable of suppressing the generation of appearance deficiency caused by the generation of the rupture or wrinkles of a sheet for decorating molding at the peripheral edge part thereof by devising the shape of the boundary of the mirror surface part and embossed surface part of a lower mold. SOLUTION: In the mold for decorating molding consisting of upper and lower molds and pressing and heating the thermosetting molding material laminated on a decorative sheet between the upper and lower molds to form a decorative molded article, at least the peripheral edge part of the lower mold 12 is formed as the mirror surface part 12a and an embossed surface part 12b with predetermined depth is formed inside the mirror surface part 12a and at least one stepped part 13 is formed to the boundary of the mirror surface part 12a and the embossed surface part 12b. The mirror surface part 12a and the embossed surface part 2b are connected through the stepped part 13 by taper surfaces 13a and 13b.
