VENT FOR HYDRAULIC ACCUMULATOR AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic accumulator assembly for a hydraulic brake system. SOLUTION: The accumulator assembly 10 includes at least a pump housing 14 having an accumulator bore 42. The accumulator bore is provided with an axis 46 and an inner wall 50. A piston 62 is movably disposed in the accumulator bore to divide the accumulator bore into an accumulator chamber 66 possible of communicated with a hydraulic brake system and a spring chamber 70. The spring chamber is provided with a spring 102 for pressurizing the piston in the direction of the accumulator chamber. A passage 114 provided in the pump housing approaches to the inner wall so as to form a relatively thin wall thickness T toward the inner wall. The inner wall is formed with a vent bore 118 penetrated therethrough and the vent bore communicates the spring chamber with the passage. The vent bore is penetrated in the direction separating from the axis.
