A dismountable chair has an integrally moulded plastic back and seat member 1 provided on its undersurface with four diverging sockets 2 externally ribbed at 2a and internally splined to receive tubular legs 4 which are interconnected and braced by a removable member comprising rods 5c welded together at 8 and terminating in a stud which engages a keyhole slot in each leg 4. A collar 9 slidably mounted on each end of each rod 5c has a peg 10 which is engaged in each slot to lock the rods in position.</p> |
