PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a mechanism, and to dispense with excessive man power in adjusting an induction heating coil. SOLUTION: In this induction heating shrink-fit apparatus, the AC current is carried in an induction heating coil 1, a tool holder 2 is heated by the induced current generated thereby, and the shank portion of a blade 3 is shrink-fitted and fixed to a hole 3. The induction heating coil comprises a pair of coils 1a and 1b, the coils 1a and 1b are accommodated in holding parts 4a and 4b and located on a side surface of a tool holder 2 set on a shrink-fitting apparatus body 5. The holding parts 4a and 4b are fixed to a base 16, and fixed to laterally movable pedestals of a slide pack. A rack A21 and a rack B22 are fixed to each of the pedestals, a pinion fixed to the base 16 and having a load in one direction is provided. A stopper is provided on the holding part 4a, a shaft is passed through the stopper, and a spring 18 is provided thereon.
