PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the vessel suitable for mass cultivation, unnecessary of automatic irrigation machine, capable of uniform application of fertilizers and irrigation without consuming time, generating no root rot, and capable of being easily set up. SOLUTION: This plant cultivation vessel is in the form of a box with opened upper surface, and characterized by setting up at the bottom a liquid-staying part in the form of plural recesses which are not isolated from the upper structure thereof and also having an opened drain mechanism in the vicinity of the top of the recesses; wherein the liquid-staying part may be formed at the bottom wall of the box or formed by an insole member installed in the box, the drain mechanism is set at the sidewall of the box and/or set penetrating through the bottom wall, and it is preferable that a granular inorganic medium (e.g. pumice) is held in the box. |
