PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device which is provided with first and second spindle units and can simultaneously detect the reference positions of two cutting blades in their cutting directions. SOLUTION: This cutting device is provided with the first spindle unit equipped with a first rotary spindle and a first cutting blade attached to one end section of the spindle, and the second spindle unit equipped with a second rotary spindle and a second cutting blade attached to one end section of the spindle. The spindle units are positioned opposite to each other. The cutting device is also provided with a first cutting blade detecting mechanism which is provided in connection with the first cutting means of the first spindle unit, and a second cutting blade detecting mechanism which is provided in connection with the second spindle unit. |
