PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector which has an external shell of a stainless steel, having grounding legs in which a preparation processing is carried out, so that the grounding leg could be soldered to a printed circuit board with tin solder. SOLUTION: The electrical connector is equipped with an external shell, in which grounding legs are prepared. It is desirable that the external shell and the grounding legs be made of stainless steel. The grounding legs are processed, so that a rough surface of formed on each of the legs. Subsequently, a metal covering is given, and a metal rough surface is formed to the grounding leg. The rough surface enables it to easily solder the grounding leg to the printed circuit board. The rough side can also be formed in the whole external shell, as required.
