PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means of suppressing noise which becomes a problem when in use of a nonoriented silicon steel sheet having excellent high frequency magnetic properties owing to a component where Cr is incorporated. SOLUTION: This nonoriented silicon steel sheet has a composition containing, by mass, 1.5-20% Cr and 2.5-10% Si, also containing C and N in amounts reduced, in total, to <=100 ppm, and having the balance iron with inevitable impurities and also has >=60 mΩcm specific resistance. An insulating film of (0.1 to 10) g/m2 coating weight is formed on the surface of this steel sheet, and >=5 mass % resin is incorporated into the insulating film. |
