PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material giving a photograph with good color saturation over a wide exposure range even in a compact camera and a disposable camera. SOLUTION: In the silver halide color photographic sensitive material having at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer on the base and having an ISO sensitivity >=640, the evaluated valueηof color saturation represented by the equationη=10 log (1/VT) is >=-15 dB. In the equation, VT=(1/6)×((62-Y1)2+(62-Y2)2+(62-Y3)2+(62-Y 4)2+(62-Y5)2+(62-Y6)2), where each of Y1-Y6 is the mean value of data (chroma values) obtained by exposing 12 colors of the Macbeth color chart with each of light exposures categorized into 6 stages, that is, -1 aperture to +4 and carrying out saturation measurement.
