PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically renew a threshold value set for judging as the abnormality in the case the number of pixels which constitutes a prescribed image existing in a image obtained by picking up the operational state, exceeds the threshold value, so as to be make it possible to adjust it to a suitable value. SOLUTION: The operational image in a molten metal treating facility is picked up with a camera 10, and when judged as the the abnormality arises in the molten metal treating facility in the case the number of the picture elements constituting the image exceeds the prescribed threshold value with respect to the image satisfying a specified condition in the obtained image with an image processor 12, the information on the number of the pixels which constitutes the image satisfying the above specified condition in the image picked up when the abnormality arises, is automatically stored, and the above threshold value is renewed based on this information. |
