<p>An electronic unit which is driven by a solar battery whose transparency has been improved by extremely narrowing photovoltaic cells. An electronic unit having a solar battery and a device driven by the power generated by this solar battery, wherein the solar battery (10) comprises a transparent board (12), a plurality of conductive portions (14a-14d) formed around the periphery of the transparent board (12) and connected in series, and a plurality of photovoltaic cells (18) in the form of narrow lines formed on the transparent board (12) at suitably spaced intervals and connected to the conductive portions (14a-14d). Further, a transparent electrode film (80) is formed on the transparent board (12) and earthed, whereby it is protected from the adverse effect of static electricity.</p> |
