PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water hammer prevention equipment capable of being manufactured at a low cost and being stored in a narrow space in water equipment with a flat structure. SOLUTION: A casing 20 connected to a channel 3A inside of a pipe line through a through-hole 45 is provided to the water service pipe, the inside of the casing 20 is partioned into an area E1 connecting to the channel inside of the water service pipe 3 and an area E2 storing an elastic buffer 50 therein by a protective membrane 60, the elastic buffer 50 is formed in a thin flat-shape in the direction of the thickness and, at the same time, the protective membrane is formed in a thin plate shape.
