METHOD FOR REMOVING UNNECESSARY PART FROM RING-SHAPED ELASTOMER ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically remove an unnecessary part from a ring-shaped elastomer article. SOLUTION: At first, the apex part 12 of a tire bead apex assembly being the ring-shaped elastomer article and a part of a gate 24 being the unnecessary part are respectively fixed. Subsequently, a cutting tool is thrust in the edge part of the gate 24 and guided in a state of piercing the gate 24. Especially, a process for stretching the gate 24 is included before the cutting tool is guided.
