PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tending machine capable of smoothly changing running direction without imposing strain on an operator. SOLUTION: This tending machine 10 installed with tillage tines 34 on a tillage axle 20 to cultivate soil and wheels 50 having a diameter larger than the tillage tines 34 at the both terminals of the tillage axle so as to travel on a road 53 with the wheels 50, is set as capable of carrying out free rotation of the wheels 50 to the tillage axle 20 when the speed of normal rotation of the wheels 50, 50 is faster than the speed of normal rotation of the tillage axle 20 by installing the wheels 50 on the tillage axle 20 via a one-way clutch 44.
