PURPOSE: A safety control apparatus of a swing door is provided to protect passengers by restricting the opening state of the door with alarming in placing the passenger near the swing door, and to increase operation time and driving torque by automatically adjusting a high speed limit switch. CONSTITUTION: A safety control device of a swing door is composed of an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(110) detecting the passenger near the swing door or the vehicle on the inclined road by receiving signals from an infrared sensor(90) and a ramp detecting sensor(100), and opening and closing the swing door by outputting the control signal according to logic; high and low speed control relays(140,130) turned on and off according to the control signal from the ECU to control a motor(10) of the swing door; a high speed limit switch(60) controlling the swing door at high speed according to the control signal from the ECU; and an alarming buzzer(120) restricting the opening of the swing door and alarming in detecting the passenger near the swing door. Passengers are protected with automatically controlling the opening speed of the swing door, and the door is prevented from being opened or closed incompletely with controlling the door at high speed on the inclined road.
