PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink composition having a fine particle diameter, excellent in dispersion stability even in an ink composition so as to contain a large amount of an organic solvent and further excellent in ink jet discharge characteristics. SOLUTION: This ink composition comprises an aqueous dispersion of colored resin particles prepared by coating pigment particles with (A) a film-forming resin at least partially neutralized with a base and the film-forming resin (A) comprises (a) a high-molecular weight resin and (b) a low-molecular weight resin having 1.5<=(Mwa/Mwb) and 1,000<=Mwb when the weight-average molecular weight of the high-molecular weight resin (a) is Mwa and the weight-average molecular weight of the low-molecular weight resin is Mwb. |
