PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for easily viewing and picking recording paper discharged to a discharge tray. SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises a movable discharge tray 11 provided vertically movable and height-adjustable at a recording paper reception position for receiving recording paper discharged from a discharge port of a device body into a discharge space and a fixed discharge tray 7 fixed in position on the lower side of the movable discharge tray for receiving the recording paper discharged from the discharge port. The movable discharge tray has a portion, close to the outside of the device body, rotationally movable vertically between, at least, a horizontal position and a lower-side position with a portion close to the inside of the device body as a supporting point. The movable discharge tray is located at the upper side of the discharge port for allowing the fixed discharge tray to receive the recording paper discharged from the discharge port. The movable discharge tray is located at the lower side of the discharge port for receiving the recording paper discharged from the discharge port.
