VACCINE COMPOSITION HAVING EXCELLENT IMMUNOSTIMULATING EFFECT

PURPOSE: A vaccine composition including peptide and an immunoactivating agent as an immune adjuvant is provided, which improves a vaccine adjuvant effect by an antigen and can be formulated into oral or non-oral preparations. CONSTITUTION: A vaccine composition contains an antigen, 0.001 to 1% by weight of peptide with an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 and an immunoactivating agent. The antigen is E2 protein of hepatitis C virus and the imnunoactivating agent is alum. The composition can contain an aqueous excipient additionally to increase stability of the antigen.
