摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fuel cut time of coast travel from shortening when a lockup clutch is released in slip control in an accelerator stepping state. SOLUTION: The explanation is given on a case where throttle opening TVO closes by a release of an accelerator at t2 in Fig. Since target slip rotationΔNo is set to a value smaller than slip rotation possibly caused when a torque converter is not limited on a slip with every combination of engine output torque Te and an engine speed Ne, actual slip rotationΔNR does not continuously reduces more than the target slip rotationΔNo in the accelerator stepping state before t2, so that the lockup clutch is not released still in a slip control area as being clear from a change in fastening force of the lockup clutch. Thus, when transferred to coast travel at t2, fastening force increasing control of the lockup clutch by the slip control from t2 is sometimes performed without a response delay at all, and reduction of the engine speed Ne to a fuel recovery rotating speed NF/R can delayed to delay fuel cut timeΔT2.
