PURPOSE: A personal gas mask is provided to secure lifesaving in companies, factories, schools, laboratories and homes at fire with reduced manufacturing cost and enabling easy installation. CONSTITUTION: A personal gas mask includes a wearing cover(1) having a front section(1a) and a rear section(1b) enclosed in the upper and side portions and opened in the lower portion via a wearing hole(2), an elastic member(3) having the wearing hole(2) integrally connected with the lower portion of the wearing cover(1), and a filter(5) attached to the center of the front section(1a) of the wearing cover(1) via a sealing material(4). In the filter(5), an outermost nonwoven cloth(6) contacting with the ambient air for flame proof and gas filtering, a filter protector cloth(7a), a carbon coated filter, a filter protector cloth(7b) and a contact nonwoven cloth contacting the nose and mouth of a user are layered in order. A flame proof silicon band(10) is installed around the wearing hole(2) of the elastic member(3).
