PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film winding controller for a camera capable of feeding film with good flatness into an aperture. SOLUTION: This camera is equipped with a 1st roller 4 for guiding the film 7 pulled out from a feeding spool 3 into the aperture 2, and a winding spool 5 for winding the film fed by the roller 4 and a 2nd roller 6. A CPU 10 sets film winding amount N so that all the film part 7a coming into contact with the roller 4 at the time of finishing exposure may be wound up to the outside of the aperture 2, and stops the rotational driving of the spool 5 when the winding amount of the film attains the set amount N.
