PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas burner capable of attaining a stable combustion under a wide range of an air ratio. SOLUTION: A pre-mixing gas pipe 6 having a lateral extending structure is arranged within an outer box 4 and a large number of small flame holes 7 are arranged in one row. Pre-mixed gas adjusted by a mixer in advance to an air ratio of about 0.6 where no lift is produced is fed into a pre-mixture gas pipe 6 by a pre-mixing pipe 8 and then flame is injected out through the flame holes 7. Secondary air is fed into an outer box 4 through a secondary air pipe 5, the secondary air bypassed around the pre-mixing gas pipe 6 encloses the flame injected out of the flame holes 7. Thus, not-yet ignited constituents in the flame kept under an incomplete combustion state became complete combustion state. Accordingly, both prevention of occurrence of lift and complete combustion can be accomplished over a wide range of air ratio. In addition, a flame holding structure is not particularly needed.
