PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take measurements using a three-dimensional measuring instrument for resin moldings, while taking into account the surface roughness of products when products with surface roughness are to be measured. SOLUTION: The three-dimensional measuring instrument includes: a laser displacement gauge; X- and Y-direction movement means for driving the laser displacement gauge in mutually perpendicular directions; a control means for moving the X- and Y-direction movement means according to predetermined speed information and desired position information and outputting an input control signal to a display input storage means; the displacement input storage means to which the position information output by the control means and the output signal of the laser displacement gauge are input and which then stores these as height data; a regression equation calculating means for calculating a regression equation from the displacement data stored in the displacement input storage means; and an output means for outputting the displacement from the regression equation calculated by the regression equation calculating means.
