PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine which prevents chewing gum, etc., from being stuck nearby a coin discharge opening and enables a user to easily recognize chewing gum even if the chewing gum is stuck. SOLUTION: This automatic vending machine is equipped with a coin chute which has a bottom wall for guiding coins and discharges the coins along the bottom wall, a coin receiving pan which has a surface connecting with the bottom wall slantingly to a horizontal surface, an opaque partition wall which partitions the coin chute and coin receiving pan from each other and has an opening for passing coins almost vertically above the bottom wall and slanting surface, and a transparent cover which is fitted on the coin receiving pan side of the partition wall and covers the opening.
