PURPOSE: A method for notifying billing contents by using a short message is provided so that a user can receive and re-confirm billing information, by receiving the billing information from a mobile communication system in form of a short message and storing the short message in a mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: When a mobile communication terminal transmits a call(411), an exchange notifies call transmission to a service controller(413). The service controller analyzes the transmission call, and provides an analysis result to the exchange(415). The exchange connects the call(417). When the mobile communication terminal ends the call(419), the exchange cancels the call, and notifies call cancellation to the service controller(421). The service controller calculates billing contents of the mobile communication terminal(423). Thereafter, the service controller generates a short billing message and provides it to a short message service center. The short message service center transmits the short billing message to the corresponding mobile communication terminal(427). The mobile communication terminal displays the short billing message on a display unit(429). The user can store the short billing message in the mobile communication terminal.
