PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate structure for magnesium or magnesium alloy casting, with which the occurrence of burrs is reduced and the occurrence of an imperfect region caused by delaying of the running of molten metal is prevented. SOLUTION: In the casting 10 having a gate portion 1 having a sprue 2 and a product portion 4 formed to be continued with the gate portion 1, an enlarged part 3 is formed at the opposite side of the gate portion 1 connected to the product portion 4.
