PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decomposition device for an organic halogen compound which can suppress a cost increase by exchange of a blow pipe. SOLUTION: This decomposition device for the organic halogen compound has a reaction tube which decomposes the organic halogen compound decomposed in the reaction tube, a waste gas treatment tank in which an alkaline solution for neutralizing the decomposed matter decomposed in the reaction tube is housed and the blow pipe 45 which is disposed in the state of immersing its opened bottom end into this alkaline solution and blows the decomposed matter into the alkaline solution from the reaction tube. This blow pipe 45 comprises a tubular blow pipe body section 45a and a front end 45b having an aperture 45c which is disposed at its front end and is opened in the alkaline solution.
