PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light transmitter-receiver for optical communication capable of mobile communication without the need for precise optical axis adjustment, independently of the curved shape of a platform. SOLUTION: A TV camera 10 picks up a state of the platform 1 and gives a video signal to a light transmitter 11. A modulation section 12 of the light transmitter 11 modulates the video signal, a signal distributor 13 distributes the modulated video signal into a plurality of drive circuits 14a, 14b,..., 14n, which respectively drive light emitting elements 15a, 15b,..., 15n. The light emitting elements 15a, 15b,..., 15n are arranged along a side of the platform 1 at a prescribed interval. When a train 2 stops at the platform 1, a light- receiving device 21 provided at a side of the train 2 receives a light beam 16a from the light-emitting element 15a opposed to the light receiving device 21 to display an image denoting a state of the platform 1 on a monitor 23. When the train 2 starts running, the light-receiving device 21 sequentially receives the light beam outputted from the light-emitting elements 15a, 15b,..., 15n to display the image on the monitor 23. |
