PURPOSE: Roof vent structure for emergency escaping in a bus is provided to rescue a passenger safely in an emergency by removing a cover of a roof vent with operating a lever. CONSTITUTION: A root vent of a bus is composed of an opening part formed in a roof of the bus; a cover closing the opening part; a mounting bracket fixed at the side of the opening part; a connecting piece(10) protruded and fixed in the cover to separate a cover bracket from the cover; a connecting hole penetrating the connecting piece through the upper part of the cover bracket; a slide bar(30) connected to the connecting piece, and placed in the lower part of the connecting hole; guide blocks(21,22,23) fixed to move the slide bar horizontally in the lower part of the cover bracket; a restoring spring(40) fixed between the slide bar and the second guide block; and an operating lever(50) connected to the slide bar, and fixed in the cover bracket. The roof vent structure ventilates through the cover bracket. The cover of the roof vent is separated easily with operating the lever, and the passenger is rescued safely in an emergency.
