<p>An apparatus for the dimensional and/or geometrical checking of mechanical pieces (49) with rotational symmetry comprises support and reference means, for supporting and positioning the piece, that define a reference axis, and gauging heads (30, 75).A driving system, for causing the axial rotation of the piece, includes a shaft (7), housed in an axial opening of the support and reference means, aligned along the reference axis and rotating about it.The shaft carries at an end a central body (41) and an arm (43) with a driving pin (54), for cooperating with a hole in the piece and thereby transmitting rotation to it. The arm is coupled to the central body by means of a fulcrum that enables it to position itself in a horizontal working position and in a vertical rest position, within the layout dimensions of the central body.</p> |
