POLISHING MACHINE

PURPOSE: A polishing machine is provided to perform polishing nuclear fuel bar polluted with radial rays and metal sample using polishing paper of various grits and to manufacture fine sample by coating and grinding diamond paste on a polishing cross. CONSTITUTION: A polishing machine includes a gear motor(2) mounted in a frame(1), a thrust bearing(4) inserted between a driving plate(3) and the frame(1), a chute(11) mounted on the driving plate for recovering polishing oil, disk carrier plates(9,10) mounted on the chute, a guide support(26), which has the same size as the sample, mounted on the carrier plates, a weight fixing spindle(27) and a weight strut weighing(29) under a capstan(20) mounted on a column(12) fixed on the frame, a half set collar inserted to the column and screwed to a rotating spindle(14), a bracket(22) connected with a rotating regulating screw(23), a polishing oil injector mounted on the bracket, a standard multiple connector(33) connected to a base plate(6).
