GLASS AND GLASS CERAMIC COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly expansive glass having mean coefficient of thermal expansion in the order of 120×10-7-350×10-7/ deg.C and <=7.5 dielectric constant and excellent in heat resistance and to obtain a glass ceramics composition. SOLUTION: This glass has >=700 deg.C softening point and the fired product of the glass powder has 120×10-7-350×10-7/ deg.C mean coefficient of thermal expansion at 50-350 deg.C and <=7.5 dielectric constant at 1 MHz at room temperature and the glass ceramics composition contains the glass.
