PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the degree of the increase of respective units required at every wavelength and to simplify constitution even if multiple nodes are disposed. SOLUTION: In a wavelength multiplex ring network system and the wavelength allocation method, plural groups A and B to which the respective nodes A1 to A5 and B1 to B5 are made to belong are given, specified wavelengths λ1 to λ3 and λ4 to λ6 are allocated between all the two nodes in the same groups A and B by one to one in the respective groups A and B and specified wavelengths λ7 are allocated to the different groups A and B. |
