PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide member for fiber made of ceramics, excellent in abrasion resistance and high sliding property without causing deterioration of yarn quality or increasing load to fiber machine. SOLUTION: This guide member for fiber is a member for guiding a fiber and consists of 3.0-45.0 wt.% zirconia and/or zircon, 0.3-5.0 wt.% silica and/or magnesia and the balance of alumina and unavoidable impurities and is composed of first crystals having 0.5-1.5 μm average crystal particle diameter and second crystals having 3-10 μm average crystal particle diameter and has <=7 μm whole average crystal particle diameter, <=0.25 coefficient of friction to polyester fiber and <=0.6 μm surface roughness (Ra) of face for guiding the fiber. |
