PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently cope with side load even in the case of forming a large roof opening in a roof and to make the awning ribs of a canvas type opening/closing member as invisible as possible from the interior of a cabin. SOLUTION: A roof opening 3 extending long almost over the whole length of a roof 1, is formed in the roof 1. The roof opening 3 is opened/closed with a canvas type opening/closing member 5 having an awning 5a and awning ribs 5b. A frame part 4 formed along the roof opening 3 is fixed to the roof 1. The frame part 4 has a reinforcing frame part 4b for connecting a lateral pair of side edge parts 4a to each other. In the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body, the position of each center pillar part 2 and the position of the reinforcing frame part 4b almost coincide with each other. The center pillar part 2 and the frame part 4 are connected by a reinforcement 6. In the state of the roof opening 3 being closed with the opening/closing member 5, at least one awning rib 5b is in an overlapped position with the reinforcing frame part 4b.
