PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information system, terminal, information server, consumer premises equipment, control method therefor and information recording medium. SOLUTION: A terminal 211 of an information system 201 carries a printing medium 101 with printed magnetic ink characters along with a carrier path 403, prints characters on the carried printing medium 101, recognizes magnetic ink characters printed on the printing medium 101, reads the image of the printing medium 101 and transmits the information of recognized magnetic ink characters and the information of the read image through a communication path 231 to an information server 221. The information server 221 receives the information of the magnetic ink characters and the information of the image transmitted from the terminal 211 through the communication path 231 and correspondently stores the received information of the magnetic ink characters and the image. |
