PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb difference in transfer rate of first and second information signals between an information signal recording medium and a buffer memory. SOLUTION: When the first and second information signals A, B which are temporarily stored in first and second areas 19a, 19b of a track buffer memory 19 are time-division recorded in first and second areas 13a, 13b on an optical disk 13 by one optical pickup 14, addresses of the first and second areas recorded in a management area 13c on the optical disk 13 are reproduced, each free area in the first and second areas on the optical disk 13 in which each of the first and second information signals is recorded is retrieved by one optical pickup 14 and the first and second information signals are judged whether they can be recorded in each free area in the first and second areas on the optical disk 13 or not by a judging means at a state that continuity in the case of time-division recording between the optical disk 13 and the track buffer memory 19 is held via one optical pickup 14 in the case of recording.
