Production of a carrier (I) impregnated with a volatile active agent (A) involves: (a) separating (A) into at least two fractions of different volatility; (b) mixing part of (I), in particulate form, with each of the fractions of (A); and (c) recombining the parts. Independent claim are included for: (i) the (A)-impregnated (I) product, specifically perfume-impregnated plastics; and (ii) a perfumed article obtained by molding the perfume-impregnated plastics as in (i).
