PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system using a talking toy in dual direction type performing actions including utterance responding to game process. SOLUTION: A talking toy 100 is a dual direction type toy in a form of an imaginary animal. The talking toy makes actions like open and close eyes and mouth, extension and contraction of legs and utterance like 'Do not be hard!' based on state signals sent from a game machine 150. The game machine 150 performs game grogram and outputs graphics and sounds of playing game on TV 160 responding to indication signals input from an input device similarly to existing game machines. By outputting the state signals to the talking toy 100, for example, the talking toy 100 responding instead of a fighting opponent in a computer, a user feels like fighting with the talking toy in play. |
