PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase stability for a scanner-equipped printer and to reduce vibrations produced on printing and noises arising from the vibrations. SOLUTION: A scanner portion 2 of a scanner-equipped printer 1 is arranged at the upside of a printer portion 4 so that it becomes integral with the printer, while the center of gravity of the scanner portion 2 and the center of gravity of the printer portion 4 are positioned approximately on the same straight line in the vertical direction. The scanner portion 2 is supported and fixed with a first scanner support frame 21 attached to the rear of a base frame 41 of a printer base 40 and a second scanner support frame 22 attached to the front of the base frame 41. A carriage 42 is arranged at a position between the printer base 40 comprising the greater part of weight of the printer portion 4 and a scanner base 20 comprising the greater part of weight of the scanner portion 2.
