PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a feed for efficiently raising minute aquatic organisms such as rotifer serving as a feed for fishes and shellfishes without causing economical problems. SOLUTION: This feed is such as to contain, as active ingredient, yeast belonging to the genus Torulaspora, Schwanninomyces, Sterigmatomyces, Saccharomyces or Saccharomycoposis and intracellularly accumulated with highly unsaturated fatty acids accounting for >=8 wt.% of the total lipids therein. The 2nd objective method for producing the feed is provided. The 3rd objective method for culturing a minute aquatic organism through feeding it with the above feed is also provided. |
