PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen elongation percentage dug to the moisture of an artificial lawn line tape and prevent lift due to water fall, water spraying or the like by erecting an engaging element comprising the mono-filament of a prescribed diameter on a foundation specifying the elongation percentage after water immersion in the form of a twill weave. SOLUTION: The engaging element 1 comprising the mono-filament of the diameter of 0.2-0.5 mm is erected on the foundation such as a polyester in the form of the twill weave. The engaging element 1 comprises a stem part 2 and a swelling head body shape 3, the stem part 2 receives repulsion action due to the bending elasticity of the shaft stem by the linearity, can pass through the gap of a loop pile or a cut pile, and the swelling head body shape 3 is firmly engaged with the pile. In addition, the engaging element 1 can be firmly erected by making it in the form of the twill weave, stress can be dispersed because the erection position of the engaging element 1 can be slipped, the engaging element 1 can be closely erected, and the artificial lawn line tape having strong engaging force can be obtained. After the polyester is immersed, contraction is not performed after drying again by making the elongation percentage 0.5% or less.
