<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure security, and to realize power saving. SOLUTION: When an instruction to restore form a power saving mode is issued while an ID card 7 is not pulled out of an ID card slot 4a, transition to restoration processing from the power saving mode is immediately obtained. When the ID card 7 is pulled out of the ID card slot 4a during the absence of any instruction to restore from the power saving mode (in a power saving mode period), the power source of a primary storage device 2 is interrupted. In the restoration processing from the power saving mode, power is supplied to all the devices and constituting elements whose power sources are interrupted (including the primary storage device 2 when the power source of the primary storage device 2 is disconnected), and transition to a normal mode is obtained.</p> |
