PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a fine movement phenomenon generated when a hitting pounder is returned to a turning start point position, to fix the repulsive force of a game ball at all times without changing the turning width of the hitting lever and to return the hitting lever to the turning start point position without the need of the elastic force of a restoration spring or the like. SOLUTION: This hitting device 10 is provided with a rotary solenoid 16 for turning the hitting lever 18 back and forth and the hitting lever 18 is returned to the turning start point position by the attracting action of the rotary solenoid 16. Also, at the turning start point position, the hitting lever 18 is surely stopped and held by magnetic force inside the rotary solenoid 16.
